Empowering the capabilities of institutional organizations and associations working in education by promoting inclusive and social development for the young generations.
As part of the prevention of irregular migration among potential young migrants, Progettomondo, in collaboration with the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Casablanca and Beni Mellal, organized training courses focused on the educational program to the benefit of 13 associations. Involved in the training, are the Association of neighborhoods IDMAJ, the Al AMAL Association focusing on the monitoring and support of ex-convicts, the ASSALAM Association focusing on social development through sport, and 13 teachers from different schools of the region Casablanca-Settat.
This training, led in partnership with the Regional Academy of Education and Training of Casablanca, had the goal to contribute to the empowerment of the role and capacities of the educational institutions and civil society organizations. The purpose of the training is to promote inclusive social development for young generations and to create a space of exchange and reflection. Besides, the educational program targets the youth through an awareness campaign on irregular migration, acting on the building of self-esteem and personal choices, on the realization of a life project related to current opportunities, supporting the development of a life project that includes thinking, love and reality.
The training enabled teachers and animators to develop and strengthen specific skills related to the psychology of teenagers, by promoting youth inclusion into Moroccan society, empowering their knowledge about the contemporary subjects of debate, and inform them about the current legal alternatives to irregular migration.
